Peter Scanlon

Growing up in his family's hardware stores, Pete learned early how to build stuff and create value that benefits multiple audiences all at once. He has built buildings and programs for owners of commercial, government and education portfolios, built companies from start-ups to multinational market leaders, and built new markets and movements that have helped shape the new economy. Pete graduated from Harvard in economics and has held leadership positions at Greentown Labs, Accruent, Aquent, three start-ups, the national service corps City Year and presidential, senate and congressional campaigns.

For twenty years, Rick has been working with the best and brightest companies and technologies to deliver Smart Cities, Smart Buildings and Smart Utility solutions that are shaping the future of our new economy. At Verdicity, Rick reaches out to customers and partners to design and bring to market the best smart building solutions.
Rick has led strategy, product development and major accounts for Johnson Controls, Compaq, Dell, Apple, SkyCentrics, and Connexx Energy. Rick is a Hawkeye from the University of Iowa, with a degree in marketing, information systems, and management decision modeling.
